Rev. Scott Vermillion
Pastor
Rev. Scott Vermillion graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Speech Communication and Industrial Relations. Those years were filled with mentoring and discipleship that led him to pursue a career with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship serving for 5 years at Davidson College. He then went to seminary at Regent College in Vancouver, BC where he completed his Master of Divinity. From there, Scott served as the Area Director for InterVarsity’s Campus Staff at UNC. After starting a family, he transitioned to pastoral ministry where he served as the Young Adult Pastor for The Chapel Hill Bible Church, Lead Pastor for Aspen Grove Church in Denver, and Discipleship Pastor of Riverbend Church. His greatest accomplishment was in getting his wife, Samantha, to marry him! Together they have had the great honor of raising two daughters, Lydia (19) and Claire (17). In his spare time, Scott loves cheering for the Tar Heels, watching movies, building things with his hands, and playing with his family.
