The Mission of the Women of the Word ministry of the Church at Horseshoe Bay is: to glorify God by encouraging women in the Lord and reaching out with the love of God. We seek to equip our women through projects of Christian education and spiritual renewal, outreach and benevolent ministries, and fellowship with one another. Every woman in the church is automatically a Woman of the Word. Women in the church are welcome to attend the WOW committee meetings.
The WOW Committee meets at 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on the second Tuesday of every month for an hour September through May. WOW has two events each year - the WOW Luncheon and a WOW Retreat that requires extra time to put together.
