Seekers Class

Study of the Bible

Seekers Class will be held Sunday Mornings at 9:45 A.M. in the education building, classroom 4.

"Modern Christianity is widely diverse, it terms of its social structures, beliefs, and practices. But this diversity is mild in comparison with Christianity during the first three centuries, when people claiming to be Christian did not agree on the most basic of issues .... We will see that Christians struggling to establish "orthodox" beliefs determined which books should be included in the New Testament and which books should be left out, leading to the New Testament we know today." This course will examine groups of early Christians and the early christian writings they used. The course covers the period from after the writing of the gospels up to the Council of Nicea, in 325 AD.
